The Cobb Symphony Orchestra Chorus joins the ranks among the few professionally-trained, all-volunteer choruses sponsored by the Cobb Symphony Orchestra.

Founded in 2007, the 100+ member Cobb Symphony Chorus performs the great masterpieces for chorus and orchestra. A volunteer group drawing singers from all over the greater metro region, it serves as the Principal Chorus of the Cobb Symphony Orchestra.

Each year, the CSO Chorus dedicates its performance services to the Cobb Symphony Orchestra for all choral programs scheduled by the CSO during its subscription concert series.

The Chorus also includes the Cobb Symphony Chamber Chorus which performs it's own set of concerts each season in addition to those with the Cobb Symphony Orchestra.

Highlights of previous and up-coming seasons include Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Mahler's Second Symphony, Vaughn Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols and Orff's Carmina Burana

The CSO is delighted that Bryan Black (First United Methodist Church of Marietta and DeKalb Choral Guild) serves as Director for the Cobb Symphony Chorus and further expands the extraordinary artistic depth of the CSO.
