Race Directions/Description
The race will start in the parking lot of Marietta
High School. Immediately, runners will make a right
turn onto Manning Road. Follow Manning Road all the
way around the entrance of Laurel Park. Make one
loop on the track in Laurel Park (3/4 mile) and head
back out of the park, turn left and follow Manning
Road back to Marietta High School.

Description
How do I know if I am registered?
If you register online you will receive a
confirmation email. If you registered by mail, your
cancelled check is your confirmation. If you
register at the Big Peach Running Co. location, you
will get a receipt.
When is the last day to register by mail?
Registration forms must be postmarked by
February 17, 2010
Can I register on race
day?
Yes
When is the last day I can pre-register?
You can pre-register right up until the night before
at the race, which is February 19,2010.
How does team registration work?
Groups of 10 or more receive a $2 discount
off applicable entry fees. Team members can
participate in any race. The team registration
deadline is February 13, 2010. Teams can register
by:

Please include a summary cover page with each team
members name, age, race you are participating in,

Team registrations must be submitted together.
If I am on a team, can I pick up my own
packet?
Yes, unless your team captain has arranged
to pick up for everyone on the team. If you are not
sure please ask your team captain.
Can I pick up someone else’s race number and
t-shirt?
Yes, race numbers and t-shirts are under
the person’s last name.
To whom do I make the check?
Please make checks payable to Cobb Symphony
Orchestra
What time do I arrive on race day?
At least 15 minutes before the start of your race
What is the policy on refunds for
registration fees?
No refunds or returns are issued for
registration fees.
Will the race be cancelled if the weather is
bad?
No. This is a rain or shine event.
How do I volunteer for the race?
Fill out our Volunteer Form.
Are strollers allowed?
Yes. For safety reasons, operators and
occupants of strollers and baby joggers must line up
behind the runners.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. For safety reasons, for you and your
pet please line up behind the runners.
Are there any special provisions for
wheelchair participants?
Wheelchair participants are welcome. Please
indicate on your application if you need special
assistance or go to the information booth on site
for additional assistance.
Are results announced after the race?
Top overall finishers for each division
will be announced at the Awards Ceremony after each
race. Announcements will begin after 9:30 a.m.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available at the Marietta
High School as well as surrounding surface streets.
What time will the roads
close?
7:30 a.m.
Where do race proceeds go?
The Cobb Symphony Orchestra’s objective is
to ensure artistic excellence in a diverse community
that takes pride in the Orchestra’s artistic success
and feels a sense of ownership for the Orchestra.
The Cobb Symphony is further dedicated to becoming a
catalyst for community collaborations and for
lifelong learning, using technology and other means
to broaden the musical experience of current and
future audiences.
